Amazing pair of handmade beluga whale skin boots by Tony Lama. These are historic boots custom made by Tony Lama artisans in the late 1960s. These are in AMAZING condition considering the age, just about perfect, the shape of these in such a rare size will be a purchase you can’t make anywhere else. This pair is hand stitched and the vamps are in great condition. A pair of boots rarely reaches this age in this kind of condition, and it’s pretty much unheard of for them to be in that condition and in this large size. These boots are genuine pre-ban chocolate whaleskin that are fully wearable and will last many more years if taken care of properly. The interior Tony Lama tags date these boots to the latter half of the 1960s/Early 1970s. These boots are sized at a 9 D, and Tony Lama boots generally ran true to size. There very very few noticeable marks around the vamps but you do not get to this age, over 60 year’s old, without a little bit of character. These whale boots boots are a bold classic exotic vintage style and would look great in any collection.
