Amazing pair of handmade Lucchese custom-constructed elephant boots from the El Paso (started in EP around 1986/7) blue tag line. These are vintage boots custom-made by Lucchese as part of a rare and limited selection of elephant hide boots they produced. These feature very supple bovine leather 5-row stitching uppers, which are great for line dancing, formal occasions, or just about anything in between! These vamps are in great condition, with no cracks or defects noted, and fair condition uppers. These are a combination of super supple and broken-in elephant skin, making this a purchase you can’t find anywhere else on these vintage, handmade boots. This pair is hand-welted and pegged, and made in the United States of America! These are a MUST for anyone in an 8.5 D but could also accommodate an 8.5 E and a 9 D. The matching elephant pull tabs are icing on the cake of these beautiful boots. These boots are genuine elephant hide with super deep and AMAZING striations across the vamps, just imagine what this big boy went through on the African plains to make all these scars and figure; these are fully wearable and will last just about forever if taken care of properly.
