Men's 1950s Handcrafted Cowtown 12.5/13 D Light Brown Preban
Amazing pair of handmade boots by Cowtown. These are historic boots custom made by Cowtown Mexican artisans in the late 1950s as an early version of their soon-to-be popular model 276 and 376 black and brown “Trailboss”. These are in AMAZING condition considering the age, the shape of these in such a rare large size is what commands the price. This pair is hand stitched and the vamps include the signature drop stitch on the vamps right beside the piping that Cowtown added to their boots back in the 1950s/60s. A pair of boots rarely reaches this age in this kind of condition, and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to be available in this condition and in this large size. These boots are genuine pre-ban brown whale that are fully wearable and will last many more years. The interior Cowtown tags date these boots to the latter half of the 1950s. These boots are sized at a 31 in Mexican sizing, as they were manufactured in the early Cowtown Mexico factory, which equates to a 13/12.5 D Men’s US, however Cowtown was known to be generous with their sizing in vintage models. I would expect that these boots could accommodate larger. There very few marks around the vamps, and absolutely no scratches, just light toe scuffs, but you do not get to this age, over 70 years old, without some character. These boots are a bold classic exotic vintage style and would be the crown jewel of any collection.
All of my boots have been conditioned properly with an exotic-safe leather conditioner before shipping. Condition is Pre-owned. All boots are shipped using the most expedient, fastest, and economical means because no one wants to wait to put these boots on!
